Sailmakers
Sailmakers is our flagship project for our new off-site fabrication facility – MY-Fab.
Boasting 282 student accommodation units and 9 residential flats, over twenty thousand square feet in office space spread across three adjacent sites, one of which involved façade retention of a grade II listed building.
The project consists of traditionally built foundations, ground and first floor with 5 additional stories fully constructed off-site using state-of-the-art technology in both design and manufacturing of the components.
Sailmakers proved to be a challenge for most offsite systems with its central London location, 3 site structure and the uniquely shaped plot.
MY-Fab’s Offsite System was able to adapt the original architectural drawings into modular build that fully integrates into its surroundings.
