The role holder will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and streamlining the entire delivery process of specific construction projects. Leading the project from first customer interactions all the way to completion and handover.

The Project Manager will liaise between all the various stakeholders relevant for the project, on and off site, to establish a clear line of communication allowing project delivery on time and to highest standards possible. Background in Offsite/MMC Construction management and Project management is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establishing project requirements, allocating project resources, co-ordinating services allocated to work on the project
  • Preparing, analysing and challenging tenders to form a recommendation for each project
  • Creation and management of project documentation including proposals and bids, contracts, timescale plans (programmes), H&S records, minutes of meetings, drawings, letters of appointment, statements of completion
  • Monitor and control expenses and budgets, including budgets for set projects
  • Manage suppliers & consultants, maintain and seek new relationships, evaluate and feedback

  • Maintain regular & clear communication with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Coordinate efforts of the offsite fabrication, product delivery and onsite erecting teams
  • Perform site visits, quality control, snagging and training
  • Manage customer request, complaints and KPIs in a professional manner and escalate where appropriate
  • Lead, inspire and develop a team to support workload with required skills and experience

  • Ability to read, understand & annotate architectural and technical drawings
  • Ability to read & create Gant charts to optimise critical flows of complex projects
  • In-depth knowledge of offsite construction, logistics and erecting
  • Understanding of H&S regulations including CDM, H&S plans, Site safety
  • Experience in managing contractors an advantage
  • MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • MS collaboration tools (Teams, Sharepoint, One drive) – an advantage
  • MS Project – an advantage
  • CAD software – an advantage
