With design information & requirements being key to successful delivery of Offsite Manufactured projects, MY-Fab’s in-house design team can design and project manage the process of design – fully under MY’s direct control and supervision.
Our design team comprises of architects, structural engineers, environmental engineers and specialist MEP designers, as well as dedicated Designer-Managers and Coordinators, many from a practical trades background, with hands-on experience and understanding of the requirements of the specific trades.
Our state-of-the-art steel workshop is equipped with the best and latest in steel fabrication technologies, allowing us to produce steel components and structures at tolerances far superior to traditional workshops.
The largest part of our factory is dedicated to our Fitout Area, where the main part of works occurs. With components arriving from the various departments of the facility, this is where the module is assembled. Walls, floors, ceilings, 1st and 2nd fix MEP are fitted and tested, going from steel skeleton to a fully furnished room in a matter of days.
Our Facades and Windows Department allows to assure that one of the most important components of any building is designed, manufactured and delivered all under one roof as the rest of the project.
Following major investment in both the machinery and staff, we deliver in- house the fully integrated façade packages with no need to sublet any items of the façade.
With constant innovation and development in the field, we work with our R&D department to exceed the needs of any project taking the concept through to construction.
With almost 30,00 sqf of secured storage areas, our warehouse department insures we have sufficient stock levels of all materials needed for our production.
Beyond that, together with MY Merchant, we make sure the MY Group in general is using the best and latest construction materials. The MY- Fab warehouse is used as a national logistics and coordination facility for MY Group’s across the UK.
